S. Chakaveh. (Director & Producer)
Having gained his degree in engineering from university of Nottingham
and business management masters from London University, he entered
the commercial world of construction, property and investment
in his early twenties. Since then he has developed a number of
successful enterprises, including international property development
and construction companies operated from UK and Spain. He has
been chairman and managing director of a number of television
and technology companies, member of "BBC film network"
as well as developing venture capital projects for film and stage
performance projects.
Anthony Brooker (Company Secretary)
Senior Partner in the UK law Firm and an appointed Notary Public,
Tony has had over 20 years of experience in legal aspects of commercial
and business administration activities. His attention to detail
and determination to achieve high standards, has gained him a
place as a top commercial administrator and lawyer.
Boyd Skinner (Technical Executive)
HNC Electrical Engineering,
CEI Pt.II and University of Kent: Electrical Engineering.
A Background in multimedia, film animation, and film & cable
TV production, Boyd has been a Freelance lighting cameraman and editor, since
1995. Clients have included Disney Channel/BBC/NTL, and independent
producers. Awarded Best Cinematography prize (FESTIVAL DU CINEMA
DE BRUXELLES - Palmares 2004). Also designed/compiled the
short film web-database on www.filmcentre.co.uk
.
David Cairns (Head of I.T)
David, also the Technical Director of Speedster-IT, with his team
are supporting the festival in a number of ways; SEO (search engine
optimization), managing the link building, constructing the sites
page ranking and also hosting the website and managing mass emails
and promotional emailing.
Liz Rodriguez (Events organiser)
Liz has worked in Marbella on the Costa del Sol for many years
building up her reputation as an international PR to celebrity
and sports stars from overseas. She has a lot of experience in
working with movie companies and over the last few years has attended
the Cannes Film Festival representing production houses for sales
and acquisition. With so many contacts, Liz has gone on to develop
her own businesses with Club Concierge Europe and a local directory
named Who What Where Marbella, as well as dedicating her time
and efforts to benefit many local charities in Andalucía.
Liz is very excited about being involved with the Marbella Film
Festival.
Maria Ferrer ( Producer)
Maria, a graduate of the New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida, and Royal Academy of Music in London, is our representative in the USA. She has been with us since the inauguration of the festival, and oversees the American events and marketing.
Saira O'Mallie ( Assistant Producer)
Saira worked in the arts since graduating in 2003 with a BA (hons)
in English Literature and Film Studies. She has organised a range
of fundraising, promotional and educational events, and recently
assisted at the Mirage Film Festival in Birmingham.
Will Phillips. (Commercial Sales)
Will, having graduated from university of Leeds with an honours
degree, has taken on varied roles for companies within the film
and television industry in Production and Distribution for many
years which included Head of Operations for "New light films",
London, Acquisitions Executive for "Success Entertainment",
and now joined "New world" to take on a fresh challenge
in Sales and Marketing and develop opportunities in generating
the market place for Marbella Film Festival.
Daniel Sanchez (Design & Marketing)
Daniel has worked for International Film Guide, Variety magazine,
The British Pavilion, Cannes Film Festival and joined the New
World Team to develop the Festival brand and its Marketing objectives

Tracy Christmas (PR Executive)
After gaining a BA honors in Film Production, Tracy is working as a production assistant on various Film and TV projects. She has joined the Marbella Film Festival to assist with publications and PR.
Betsy Lewis-Holmes (Press officer)
Having obtained BA (Honours) from University of London, and obtaining
an art foundation BTEC from Kingston University, she has joined
the New World Team as the press Officer. She has varied experience
with the media and moving image ranges from creating and producing
stop frame 2D films to combining films and animation.
A.Dee. (Graphic Design)
With Over 10 years experience as a graphic designer with clients
such as; Arts Council, BAA, BBC, Channel 4, EastPak USA, Hewland
International, LA Gear Sportswear, MECCA USA, MTV Europe, Saatch
& Saatchi, The South Bank Show (LTW), The Sunday Times, among
many other names, A.Dee is responsible for creating the artistic
materials for print and marketing for the festival.
Mark Mocahbee, (USA operation)
A talented film maker and currently an MFA screenwriting candidate
at The University of Miami, with many years of experiences in
the film industry. Mark heads the American operations of New World,
this includes representing the Marbella International film festival
to all commercial, educational and government levels, as well
as running the festival support team in USA. |
