noted for the use of romantic and melodious phrases in his piano compositions.
Pop Rock:
Lisa Theunissen who has recently been nominated as the ‘Best Pop Rock’ act in the Exposure Music Awards (sponsored by TourDates.co.uk), accepted to play at Guilfest 2008 and has self-released an album called HerStory on iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby.com.
Blues & Swing:
Callum McIntosh who studied at Royal Academy of Music, London, gaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Musical Theatre with Distinction • He is a professional singer/actor from Scotland with a unique baritone sound.

as an Afghani boy, refuse collector, struggles to make ends meet. |
Mohammed, an illiterate Afghani boy, works with his uncle as a refuse collector. But his uncle is arrested and jailed, and the boy is sacked from work. The story opens at night in Tehran. A man conceals a large amount of money in a purpose built compartment of his bag. On way to his car a thief on a motorbike snatches the bag. The robber empties and throws the bag away without finding the hidden money. The owner finally catches up with the robber and finds out he did not discover the hidden compartment. The search for the bag is now on. |
This is a beautifully shot, thought provoking film, one of the best recent examples of modern Iranian filmmaking. MIFF Award for Best Feature Film 2006 |
