Marbella International Film Festival brings together artists and creators to present their talents to the commercial world of film professionals, financiers and distributors.
MIFF is the place for filmmakers who want to achieve commercial success as well as displaying their artistic work.
Marbella on the southern coast of Spain is considered one of the most exclusive cities in the world, making it a perfect location for the high calibre MIFF, conveniently placed for filmmakers looking to showcase their work in the glamour and glitz of Marbella while networking with some of the high net-worth international individuals who call Marbella their home.
The 20th Marbella International Film Festival will take place between 1st – 5th October 2025.

The main screening venue including number of world premieres for MIFF is the Red Dog Cinema, Puerto Banus. Red Dog Cinema Marbella is the new avant-garde multi-space in Puerto Banus, Costa del Sol, which offers attractive possibilities to held events and conferences in an unbeatable environment, exceptional location and unique microclimate.
Seven auditoriums with a varied capacity from 115 to 475 pax.,an adaptable multipurpose space of 500 sqm and a stunning Sky Garden with spectacular sea views, distributed in a total of 3,000 sqm.

The screening program and some provisional workshops are now available to view on our 2018 Festival page. This year the Marbella International Film Festival yet again has a fantastic array of high quality and wonderfully varied films from all over the world, from some incredibly talented directors and film-makers. And for those in attendance that have purchased one of our Festival Packages we have some exciting workshops available too, including 'Acting Techniques, Secrets on Screen and Stage' by award winning actor, Steven Berkoff. If you're interested in film, this year's festival really is one you'd be a fool to miss.

Steven Berkoff Workshop Announced at MIFF 2018
MIFF is proud to announce the appearance of Octopussy star Mr Steven Berkoff at the red carpet premiere of his latest film the Tell Tale heart at the 2018 festival. The highly acclaimed English actor, playwright, author and director, who has starred in such high profile movies as Octopussy, A Clockwork Orange, and Beverly Hills Cop, continues to set the benchmark with stunning, intense performances on both stage and screen and will also present a workshop on Acting techniques, and secrets of good performance on the Screen and Stage, as part of the festival fringe on Sunday 14th October [...]

Red Rock Announce MIFF Partnership
Red Rock Entertainment have revealed that they have opened an office in Spain which it hopes will aid UK producers with developing co-productions with European counterparts after Brexit, and that they are now an official partner and sponsor of the Marbella International Film Festival. Gary Collins, founder of Red Rock Entertainment said: “We are consciously investing time and energy in Spain and see this as the perfect platform to build stronger bonds and partnerships between filmmakers in both regions.” The office is based in Malaga and has recently opened with staff in place.
