The 20th Marbella Film Festival

Marbella International Film Festival brings together artists and creators to present their talents to the commercial world of film professionals, financiers and distributors.

MIFF is the place for filmmakers who want to achieve commercial success as well as displaying their artistic work.

Marbella on the southern coast of Spain is considered one of the most exclusive cities in the world, making it a perfect location for the high calibre MIFF, conveniently placed for filmmakers looking to showcase their work in the glamour and glitz of Marbella while networking with some of the high net-worth international individuals who call Marbella their home.

The 20th Marbella International Film Festival will take place between 1st – 5th October 2025.

VENUES

We are pleased to announce that HARD ROCK MARBELLA is the new home of Marbella International Film Festival, with additional events such as the gala dinner awards ceremony being held at the Melia Banus Hotel.

The main screening venue including number of world premieres for MIFF is the Red Dog Cinema, Puerto Banus. Red Dog Cinema Marbella is the new avant-garde multi-space in Puerto Banus, Costa del Sol, which offers attractive possibilities to held events and conferences in an unbeatable environment, exceptional location and unique microclimate.

Seven auditoriums with a varied capacity from 115 to 475 pax.,an adaptable multipurpose space of 500 sqm and a stunning Sky Garden with spectacular sea views, distributed in a total of 3,000 sqm.

Iggy Pop Ready to Rock (And Roll)

Rock legend Iggy Pop is in town to attend this year's festival reports Alsodelacosta. Iggy, 68, has a vested interest in this year's event, being one of the main protagonists in the movie Blood Orange, a British movie directed by Toby Tobias that is set to premiere on the 9th October. This thriller, filmed in Ibiza and also starring Kacey Blanfield, Ben Lamb and Antonio Magro, is one of the most anticipated titles of the Festival and represents "almost an hour and a half of tension, mystery, sex and passion about Iggy Pop".
